Running Kali Linux Docker Container with Minimal Overhead

In recent times, creating a service container has become a straightforward task, requiring only the unit file of the desired service to be specified. This simplicity is one of the reasons why Kali Linux containers have gained popularity, especially among security professionals who often require minimal overhead and flexibility.

To illustrate this point, consider running an Apache unit file within a virt-sandbox-service container. In such a setup, you will only see systemd, journald, and the httpd processes running, thereby minimizing unnecessary overhead.

The idea behind using systemd within a container is to allow services to start and run in the same way as they would outside the container. This approach ensures consistency and ease of management when working with containers.
